Our Yoga instructor, Qian Xue, is certified in Hatha, Power, and
Pre-natal Yoga. She is able to design customized posture
sequence. Your body varies from day to day and Qian is able to
design ways to work with your body to help you gain flexibility and
mental peace.
Similar to Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Yoga is also a type of meditative
exercise. Yoga was developed in India and also promotes
circulation and self regulation in the body. However, Yoga poses
don’t involve as much smooth transitions between moves as Tai
Chi. Unlike Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong are part of Chinese
Medicine practices which aim at promoting energy (Qi) flow. Due
to the above differences Yoga, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong have different
emphasis and benefit the body in different aspects. At HolliBalance
Well-Being Center we believe that they are all complementary;
therefore, we offer private classes to customize the right combination
for your particular body.
